Daily (05.06.2018): Bullish coal, gas and carbon markets boosted European power prices on Monday

Oil prices continued the downward evolution on Monday, as investors kept selling amid rising U.S. output, probable global supply growth and trade concerns. Brent crude futures declined by $1.50 a barrel, or 2 percent, to end at $75.29 a barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude dropped by 1.6% to close at $64.75.

Daily (04.06.2018): The French day-ahead power price tumbled by 38.7% on Friday due to lower demand

Oil prices fell on Friday, after U.S. President Donald Trump's declaration on trade boosted the dollar, reducing greenback-denominated commodities, including crude. Brent futures lost $0.8, or 1%, to end at $76.79 a barrel. WTI crude dropped by $1.23 a barrel to end at $65.81 a barrel.

Daily (01.06.2018): European carbon contracts posted the biggest 5.8% daily loss in over a year on Thursday

Oil prices were mixed on Thursday. Brent oil price rose slightly to $77.59 a barrel, due to a larger-than-forecasted drop in crude inventories. WTI crude declined as the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries is likely to bring its supply-cut deal to a close by the end of the year. WTI futures fell by $1.17, or 1.7% to settle at $67.04 a barrel.

Daily (31.05.2018): Brent crude jumped by 2.8% on Wednesday

Oil prices surged on Wednesday, as Russia's central bank expressed caution on plans to increase oil supply. Brent crude gained $2.11, or 2.8% to close at $77.50 a barrel. WTI futures added $1.48, or 2.2% to end at $68.21 a barrel.

Daily (30.05.2018): NBP July 2018 delivery contract surged by 4.4% on Tuesday on forecasts for higher consumption

Oil prices rose slightly on Tuesday, driven high by expectations that Saudi Arabia and Russia could produce more crude to compensate a possible supply deficit. Brent crude gained 0.1% to end at $75.39 a barrel. WTI futures added $0.21, or 0.3% to trade at $66.73 a barrel.
