Largest solar power plant to be built in Asia

The biggest solar power plant will be built in Asia by the French energy group Areva for the Indian company Reliance Power, according to an announcement on Wednesday. The two plants are developed by Areva Solar and imply the use of compact linear Fresnel reflector technology aimed to generate 250 MW of electricity in Rajasthan, a northwestern region in India.
