Daily: European forward power price rebound, while spot decline ahead of holiday in Germany and France
Crude oil prices declined by about 2 percent on Friday, spurred by a rallying dollar at a near one-month high and by profit-taking ahead of a long U.S. holiday weekend. North Sea Brent oil decreased by $1.17, or 1.8 percent, to settle at $65.37 a barrel. Brent fell 2.1 percent on the week. WTI crude fell $1.17 or 1.7 percent, to close at $59.72. It posted a 3 cents increase for the week, prolonging weekly gains for a 10th consecutive week.

EnBW offers 550 million euros in cash for Prokon
Germany's third-largest utility EnBW is bidding 550 million euros ($609 million) for insolvent wind park operator Prokon, expecting its all-cash offer will undermine a competing restructuring proposal that gives Prokon a higher assessment.

German CO2 emissions in 2014 dropped by 4.1% in EU trade scheme
German carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalent emissions regulated under the European emissions trading scheme (ETS) in 2014 dropped by 4.1 percent to 461.2 million tonnes, as indicated by official national data published on Friday.
