Denmark Installs World's Largest Wind Turbine, Capable Of Giving Electricity To 18K Houses
Denmark has launched the world’s largest wind turbine in Thy. The wind turbine is 271-metre high and manages to generate electricity for 18,000 households, reported DR.DK. The world’s largest wind tribune stands tall at the National Test Center in Osterild in Thy and it is one of the tallest freestanding structures in Denmark.

France’s installed solar, wind capacity grows to 31.7 GW
France brought online roughly 2.76 GW of new solar and wind turbine capacity in the first three quarters of 2021 and reached 13.23 GW of solar and 18.54 GW of cumulative wind installations, the latest government statistics show.

Pilot project to extract lithium at Bruchsal geothermal plant, Germany
Lithium for 20,000 car batteries is to be extracted in Bruchsal, according to the goal of the project partners energy utility EnBW and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology KIT , as reported by local news station SWR. The prototype is scheduled to go into operation at the Bruchsal site at the end of the year. Then it should be checked whether what has already been successfully tested in the laboratory also works in practice. The prototype should run for over a year. We previously reported on the plans.
