GE to provide wind turbines for Polish wind farms
GE will supply 38 wind turbines for the development of four wind projects in the second phase of Darlowo Wind Energy Center being developed in Northern Poland. For these wind projects will be utilized GE’s 2.5 MW class of wind turbines.

Enel Green Power inks financing agreement worth EUR 180m
Enel Green Power, a major global operator in the sector of renewable energy generation, through its subsidiary has inked a financing deal with the export Credit Agency and Citigroup in Dania in order to secure 180 million euros to finance the construction of three wind farms.

EDF to enter the Moroccan wind market
The consortium led by EDF Energies Nouvelle, the renewable arm of the French giant EDF, in association with Mitsui & Co. Ltd, were selected by Morocco’s national electricity office, Office National d’Electricité (ONE) to develop a 150 MW wind farm located to the east of Fes, northern Morocco.

Shetland wind farm approved in Scotland
The Scottish Government has recently approved the construction of the 370 MW wind farm consisted of 103 wind turbines. It will be situated in the centre of Shetland (a region with strong wind resource) and is aimed to provide power for over 175,000 homes.
