UK offshore wind industry to hit 10 GW by the end of this decade

UK offshore wind industry is on track to double its capacity to 10 GW by 2020, according a report released by the Crown Estate at Global Offshore Wind 2014 conference. This capacity will able to cover about 10% of the country’s energy demand.
