Eni’s, Repsol’s Venezuela offshore gas project to launch production by the end of 2014
The offshore natural gas project developed by Italy's Eni and Spain's Repsol in the Gulf of Venezuela jointly with state-owned Venezuelan oil group PDVSA is likely to generate its first production at the end of this year, as stated by Paolo Scaroni, Eni's CEO, on Tuesday.

Daily: WTI crude rallies at four-month high on robust winter demand
Brent crude traded above $110 a barrel on Wednesday, destabilized by internal conflict in South Sudan and oil supply disruption in Libya, while protests in Venezuela raised concerns. Meanwhile, U.S. light crude hit its highest level in four months as stockpiles are expected to decline on winter demand and new pipeline capacity.

Daily: European coal prices fall on warm weather outlook
Brent crude oil futures increased on Tuesday, touching the highest level in 2014, since oil supply continued to fall in Libya and South Soudan rebels attacked a key oil town, and because of the protests in Venezuela which destabilized the situation. Meanwhile, U.S. crude oil futures boosted by more than $2 a barrel on Tuesday to attain a fresh four-month high on higher heating oil prices, encouraged by stronger demand amid cold weather.

Venezuela: Major gas agreement with Eni and Repsol
Venezuelan state energy giant Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) inked a supply contract with Italy's Eni SpA and Spain's Repsol YPF for development of the South American country's massive offshore Perla gas field.

ENI and PDVSA in a $2 billion financing deal
The Italian energy company, ENI, signed a $2 billion financing agreement with Venezuela's Petroleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA) to jointly develop oil projects in the Orinoco River basin and build a power plant in eastern Venezuela.
