Huge offshore wind park launches in North Sea after $3 billion support

One of the world’s biggest offshore wind farms is officially launched. The Gemini Offshore Wind Park, which is located 85 kilometers off the coast of the Netherlands and has a capacity of 600 megawatt (MW), covers 68 square kilometers and has 150 Siemens wind turbines. Around 2.8 billion euros ($3.05 billion) was invested in the project.
