Oil increased to a two-week high by $85 on Monday after the European Union endorsed a rescue package for Ireland and drafted a permanent scheme to resolve the euro zone's debt crisis. ICE Brent for January rose 97 cents to $86.55.

Oil price increased on Thursday, due to less worries on Ireland's debt crisis and to a sudden decrease in crude stocks which pushed up prices. At 10:28 GMT, U.S. December crude contract increased at $81.79 per barrel, while ICE Brent climbed to $84.67 per barrel.
