First floating nuclear plant in the world to be tested in June
The world's first floating nuclear power plant (FNPP) will be conveyed to Russia's far northwest port city of Murmansk for loading of the nuclear fuel. The evaluation of the site is scheduled in June 2018.

SOCAR and Total to cooperate for the development of Absheron field
Azerbaijan’s state oil firm SOCAR and France’s Total company negotiated prospects for future collaboration, counting the development of Absheron gas condensate field in the Caspian Sea, as stated in a message published on the SOCAR’s website on December 21.

Romania will build a waste petroleum recycling facility
Romanian Green Oil and Lubes firm will have a recycling plant for waste lubricant oil. The $56 million project aims to transform oil waste into base oils so it might be reutilized in the automotive and industrial field. The 73,000 metric-tonne recycling site will be constructed in southern region of Romania, on Danube’s shore.
