Spanish researchers developed high efficient photovoltaic cells

The Micro and Nanotechnology Research Group of the Spanish Universitata Politecnica de Catalunya has realized high efficient photovoltaic cells with conversion efficiency of 20.5 percent. The new type of solar panels of 4.8 m² would produce daily an average of about 4 kWh enough to cover the energy demand of a family.
