Oil prices fell on Tuesday, with U.S. crude for January dropping 69 cents to $87.92 a barrel by 1445 GMT and ICE Brent down 31 cents to $90.88 a barrel as the dollar increased on stronger-than-expected U.S. economic data and investors’ concerns regarding the prospect of an interest rate increase in China.
