Swinoujscie terminal receives 100th LNG shipment

The Swinoujscie gas terminal in north-western Poland received its 100th liquefied natural gas cargo on Friday. The 90,000 tonnes LNG shipment came from Qatar Liquefied Gas Company Limited (Qatargas) aboard the Al-Safliya LNG tanker.

Total and Sonatrach extend their partnership in LNG

Total and Sonatrach have signed an agreement to renew their partnership in the field of LNG. This agreement notably allows to extend the existing supply contracts for three additional years in order to provide 2 million tpy of Algerian LNG to the French market, primarily through an LNG terminal at Fos Cavaou. The agreement also includes the sub-charter of an LNG tanker of Total by Sonatrach.

Gazprom Neft produces its 12-millionth tonne of oil at its Prirazlomnoye field

The 12-millionth tonne of ARCO (Arctic-blend) oil has now been produced and shipped from Gazprom Neft’s Prirazlomnaya offshore platform, delivered by the Kirill Lavrov ice-class shuttle tanker to the Kola Bay, where the Umba storage tanker is harboured, and from where it will be shipped, in standard batches, to Europe.

Daily (14.10.2019): Brent crude climbed by over 2.4% on Friday, following an Iranian tanker explosion in the Red Sea

Crude oil prices soared on Friday, bolstered by rising tensions in the Middle East following a missile attack on an Iranian tanker. Hence, Brent crude traded 2.4% up at $60.51, while WTI futures rose by 2.2% to $54.70 a barrel.

Daily (23.07.2019): European spot power prices soared by over 32% on Monday, due to an expected heatwave in the region

Crude oil prices strengthened on Monday on concerns for possible supply disruptions in the Middle East after Iran captured a British tanker last Friday. As a result, Brent crude rose by 1.3% to $63.26 a barrel, while WTI futures added 1% to settle at $56.22 a barrel.
