Daily (24.11.2023): Carbon and gas prices were strongly bullish on Thursday amid colder weather forecasts
Oil prices continued to decline on Thursday, weighed by the postponement of the OPEC+ alliance meeting, fueling rumors of discord between its members and casting doubt on whether Saudi Arabia will maintain its voluntary production cuts. Thus, Brent crude edged 0.7% down at $81.42 per barrel, while WTI crude settled 1% lower at $76.40 per barrel.

Bulgarian government doubts it will collect gas taxes from Putin
The government has decided to withdraw the estimated revenue of €1.2 billion from the new tax on the transfer of Russian gas from the state budget 2024 because the ruling majority doubts that the money can be obtained, Finance Minister Asen Vasilev said on Sunday.

France’s New ESG Rule Could Result in $7.6 Billion of Oil and Gas Divestments
France’s new regulation, which will not allow funds invested in fossil fuel companies with new development plans to use a national ESG label, could result in forced divestments of $7.6 billion (7 billion euros) of oil and gas assets currently held by funds, according to a Morningstar Inc analysis carried by Bloomberg.

EC sues Poland over cross-border gas trading restrictions
