Portugal’s EDP Renovaveis forecasts its EBITDA to grow by 10% this year

Portuguese wind power company EDP Renovaveis (EDPR) forecasts its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) to grow by 10% this year, after reporting weaker than expected 3% growth for 2016, to 1.17 billion euros.

Daily (1.03.2017): German spot power contract soars 20% on changeable wind patterns

Crude oil prices lost ground on Tuesday, but continued to trade in a tight range, as concerns about swelling U.S. crude stockpiles eclipsed OPEC production reductions. U.S. crude stockpiles have boosted for seven straight weeks. Forecasts for another weekly build of 3.1 million barrels fueled worries that demand growth may not be enough to absorb the oversupply.
