Daily (05.05.2022): Oil prices rose following EU proposal to ban imports of Russian crude
Oil prices jumped, as European Union proposed a ban on imports of Russian crude within six months and on refined oil products from the country by year-end. Consequently, Brent crude surged by 4.9% to $110.14 a barrel, and WTI crude oil soared by 5.2% to $107.81 a barrel.

EC aims to ban Russian crude imports within 6 months

Greece And Bulgaria Plan New LNG Terminal To Cut Russian Gas Reliance
The leaders of Bulgaria and Greece launched on Tuesday the construction of an LNG import terminal near the northern Greek port of Alexandroupolis, aimed at diversifying supply to southeast Europe and cutting its heavy reliance on Russian gas.
