Transgaz gets EUR 50 million EIB loan to build a new pipeline for Black Sea gas

The European Investment Bank (EIB) will award EUR 50 million to finance a new pipeline to connect Romania’s natural gas resources in the Black Sea shore with the national gas transport network as well as the BRUA corridor, according to a statement by the Economy Ministry.

Daily (26.11.2018): Brent crude lost 6.1% on Friday, on worries about oversupply

Concerns over abundant crude supplies and a deceleration in world economic expansion put heavy pressure on oil prices on Friday. Moreover, global equity markets plunged as well. Brent crude tumbled to $58.8 a barrel, posting a 12% loss week-on week. Meanwhile, WTI crude prices fell to $50.42 a barrel, or a 11% decline for the week.

NOVATEK discovers Nyakhartinskoye field

NOVATEK announced that its wholly owned subsidiary NOVATEK-Yurkharovneftegas, upon testing of the exploration well PO-1 achieved commercial flows of natural gas from the Lower Cretaceous sediments at the Nyakhartinskiy license area with a gas condensate mixture well flow rate of more than 300 thousand m3 per day.
