Danish political agreement reached on up to 6 GW electrolysis target
A broad political agreement has been reached in Denmark to spur Power-to-X technologies, including a DKK-1.25-billion (USD 184m/EUR 168m) tender for hydrogen production, the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities said on Tuesday.

EU unveils €300 million plan to fund hydrogen research
The EU’s Clean Hydrogen Partnership, a public-private undertaking, has launched its first call for proposals on 41 research topics related to hydrogen. Much of the funding will go towards hydrogen production and storage.

Spain seeks EU funding for ‘green gas’ interconnector to rest of Europe
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has called on the European Union to finance gas interconnections with the rest of Europe, saying new infrastructure should also include green gases such as hydrogen. EURACTIV’s partner El Diario reports.

Germany to spend $220 billion for industrial transformation by 2026
Germany has earmarked 200 billion euros ($220 billion) to fund industrial transformation between now and 2026, including climate protection, hydrogen technology and expansion of the electric vehicle charging network, its finance minister said.
