Siemens to install 360 MW of onshore wind power in South Africa
German engineering company Siemens has been awarded another significant wind power contract, with an order for 157 wind turbines for three projects in the South African province of Northern Cape. The customer is a consortium led by Mainstream Renewable Power.

E.ON: first turbine installed at Amrumbank West offshore wind farm
After a one-year period of construction, E.ON’s Amrumbank West offshore project is taking form. On Sunday, the installation of the first of 80 turbines has been done successfully at the construction place, 35 kilometers to the north of the island of Helgoland.

Vestas obtains order to provide 15 turbines for Italian wind park
Danish wind turbine producer Vestas Wind Systems declared on Monday it had obtained an order to provide 15 turbines for a wind park in Italy from Alisea SRL, a division of German trading conglomerate BayWa AG.
