Green tax increase hits UK businesses
According to recently presented figures by Utilux, energy consultants and traders, electricity consumers could face an increase of 58pc by 2020, supported mainly by a rise in green taxes that will come into force in the next 10 years.

E.ON increases its bills despite a drop in gas costs
Despite a drop in gas wholesale prices, which hit the lowest level this year, E.ON became the last of the six energy suppliers to boost the bills for the consumers by 18% for gas and 11.4% for electricity from September, copying the earlier decision of British Gas, Scottish Power and Scottish & Southern.

Lawmaker assures enough supply of LPG for Christmas
A lawmaker removed any concern of consumers, ensuring that there is sufficient supply of liquefied petroleum (LP) at an affordable price during the Christmas period. The LPG trade will not be affected by the Batangas-Manila oil pipeline shutdown.
