Italy: first gas field at Bezzecca in northern Italy to be developed by Saffron Energy
The Italian Ministry of Economic Development (UNMIG) greenlighted Italian oil producer Saffron Energy to start gas production at the Bezzecca gas field on 11 April 2017. Commissioning and gas production will commence in the coming days.

Italy gives the go-ahead to TAP pipeline

Egypt inked natural gas and oil exploration deal with Italy's Edison
Egypt's state-controlled Egypt Natural Gas Holding (EGAS) has inked a $86 million deal with Italy's Edison for natural gas and oil exploration in the Mediterranean, as stated by the Egyptian Petroleum Ministry on Thursday.
