Italy to extend solar incentives until 31 August
According to declarations of the undersecretary of the Italian Industry Ministry, Stefano Saglia, the government will prolong the solar incentives scheme until August 31, despite the disagreement of the Regions on new solar power supportive scheme.

Oil increased to a two-week high by $85 on Monday after the European Union endorsed a rescue package for Ireland and drafted a permanent scheme to resolve the euro zone's debt crisis. ICE Brent for January rose 97 cents to $86.55.

New EU package adopted on the sustainability criteria of biofuels
The European Commission adopted two Communications and a Decision June 10, encouraging industries, governments and NGOs to set up certification schemes on the sustainability criteria of biofuels, including the imported ones in the EU, as to aid reach the EU target in a sustainable way, the one of getting 20% of renewable energy from total energy consumption.
