Turkey and Azerbaijan to build the TANAP gas pipeline
Turkey and Azerbaijan signed an agreement for the construction of a new pipeline, called Trans-Anatolia Gas Pipeline (TANAP), which would transport gas from Shah Deniz II fields in the Caspian Sea across Turkey and would become part of the basis of a new Southern Corridor gas route to European markets.

Turkey to reduce oil imports from Iran
Turkey announced its intention to reduce oil imports from Iran, replacing them by the Saudi and Libyan oil, in order to avoid US sanctions after official trade data showed very high imports in April.
