Gazprom gas exports to Europe at the highest rate in October
The Russian energy giant Gazprom increased its gas exports to European countries by around 41% over the first 26 days of October compared with the same period last year, Alexei Miller, the head of Russia's top natural gas producer Gazprom said on Tuesday.

Germany: EnBW to become third largest gas provider after E.ON and Wingas
Germany utility EnBW has inked a deal to acquire a 74% stake in gas firm Verbundnetz Gas Aktiengesellschaft (VNG) from German energy company EWE, for €1.43bn ($1.63bn), becoming the country's third-largest gas provider after E.ON and Gazprom's Wingas.

Russia approves energy sector tax increases in 2016

Russia: Gazprom will halve the pipeline capacity of the TurkStream
Gazprom has nearly halved the intended capacity of its TurkStream gas pipeline project to 32 billion cubic metres (bcm) per year from an initial capacity of 63 bcm, as stated by Gazprom Chief Executive Officer Alexei Miller on Tuesday.
