Phoenix Solar will construct PV power plant of 6.9 MWp in Turkey
Phoenix Solar AG (Sulzemoos, Germany), an international photovoltaic system integrator, and its associate Asunim Yenilenebilir Enerji Teknolojileri Ins. Muh. San. Tic. Ltd. Sti. (Ankara, Turkey), a member of the Asunim group, have been jointly granted an order by a Turkish conglomerate to construct an array of six photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 6.9 MWp in the surroundings of the city of Kayseri in central Anatolia, as declared by Phoenix Solar in a press release.

German offshore wind develops
In the first semester of 2015, more offshore wind power capacity was added in Germany than the country earlier had. The government is apparently aiming to increase its goal for 2020, as mentioned by Craig Morris, the lead author of German Energy Transition.

Daily: German year-ahead power prices decline tracking bearish energy markets
Crude oil prices traded higher on Wednesday as dollar devaluation and weaker U.S. crude inventories provided a slight increase from six-year lows hit in the previous session, while concerns about China’s depreciating currency and economic downturn deflated prices . WTI crude futures rose 22 cents, or 0.5 percent, to close at $43.30 a barrel, after gaining almost 80 cents at the session high. The market lost $1.88, or more than 4 percent, on Tuesday, closing at $43.08 a barrel, its lowest since March 2009. Futures of Brent edged 48 cents up, or 1 percent, to touch $49.66 a barrel, after a session peak at $50.01.

Germany has no plans for discussions on nuclear end
The German government has no tangible plans to discuss with industry about the costs of closing nuclear power plants, as stated by an official of the Economy Ministry on Wednesday.
