Yingli registers an increase in profit in the Q2 of 2011

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited, one of the largest manufacturers of integrated PV modules announced its profit for the second quarter which ended on June 30th, 2011, which accounted an increase by 27.4% to 680.6 million dollars, compared to the first quarter of 2011. Meanwhile, the gross profit showed a gross margin of 22.1%.

Solaria to enter into the UK”s PV market

Solaria Energia Medio Ambientale has inked an important agreement as to provide over 500 rooftop solar PV systems in Northumbria in the United Kingdom. The modules will have a generation capacity between 2kW and 10 kW and will be set on the rooftops of council houses and public buildings. The project will receive funding from the country council.
