Sarnia – world’s biggest solar plant.
The largest operational photovoltaic power-generating station on the planet was built by First Solar and is owned by Enbridge. It is located just outside of Sarnia, just southwest of Ontario and it is composed of about 1.3 million panels on a surface of 1150 acres.

Record generation for UK wind power
On Monday, according to the UK National Grid, Britain’s wind farm reached a record power output, generating the same amount of electricity as almost four nuclear power stations.
