Daily: European power prices evolve differently as demand spurred French prices

Crude oil prices decreased over 2% on Friday, prolonging the week’s decline to the largest in eight months, dragged down by largest amount of storage of crude. WTI crude fell $1.01, or 2.42 percent, to settle at $40.74 a barrel. It lost about 8 percent on the week, its most since March. Brent crude dropped 46 cents, or 1.04 percent, to close at $43.60 a barrel. For the week, Brent plunged nearly 8 percent, also its most since March.

Italy's Snam interested in acquiring 17 pct stake in Greek gas network from SOCAR

Italian gas grid operator Snam would like to purchase a 17 percent stake in Greek gas grid operator DESFA from SOCAR, as stated by the Azeri state energy company's president on Tuesday, in an agreement that may calm European Commission worries.

Daily: European power diverge on robust wind supply in Germany, higher consumption in France

Crude oil prices declined as much as 1 percent on Monday, prolonging losses for a consecutive day, dragged down by new stockpile hike at the delivery point for U.S. crude futures and lower Wall Street share prices. On Monday, the front-month in Brent crude futures fell 23 cents, or 0.5 percent, to close at $47.19 a barrel. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) dropped 42 cents, or 1 percent, to settle at $43.87.
