Photovoltaic installations to reach 6.4 GW in 2009

According to preliminary 2009 data regarding Photovoltaic industry, released by the European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA), a total of 6.4 GW of recently installed capacity was added in 2009, the global capacity attaining beyond 20 GW. Even though 2009 has touched the largest capacity growth ever, installations are likely to boost no less than 40% in 2010.
