Daily: British prompt natural gas prices boost on undersupplied system
Crude oil prices dropped on Thursday, dragged down by plentiful supply, worries about demand growth and a stronger U.S. dollar. Brent eased $1.27 to settle at $97.70 a barrel, with prices falling around 15 percent from a nine-month peak of $115.71 reached in June. U.S. crude slipped $1.35 to close at $93.07 a barrel a day following a decline due to government data that showed U.S. crude inventories increased 3.7 million barrels last week.

Gazprom declares to be unable to satisfy increasing gas demand from Europe for the moment
Russia's Gazprom declared on Wednesday it is unable to satisfy increasing gas demand from Europe while it creates stockpiles prior to winter, weakening the ability of Europe to supply Ukraine with gas. Slovakia, Poland, Romania and Austria have all registered insignificant declines in shipments recently from Russia, which is involved in a dispute with the European Union over the crisis in Ukraine.

The lower house of the Romanian parliament deferred on Wednesday intended deregulation of household gas prices by two and a half years to July 2021 seeking to support customers in the second poorest state of the European Union.

EU requires more time for Opal gas pipeline decision, specifying Ukraine tension
EU authorities, mentioning tension in Ukraine, have solicited a delay until at least the end of October on whether to authorize Russia bigger access to the Opal natural gas pipeline in northeastern Germany, as stated in a letter seen by Reuters.
