Crude oil prices rebounded on Wednesday , supported by a sharp decrease of the dollar a day before, while the market was still trying to assess the chances of a deal between two of the largest oil producers to freeze oil production. U.S. WTI settled up 67 cents at $45.50 a barrel, a third consecutive session of gains, after U.S. inventory data showed the largest weekly stock draw in over three decades. Brent futures boosted 72 cents to end at $47.98 a barrel.

Oil prices dropped on Wednesday, with U.S. crude reducing by about 3 percent, on renewed worries over oversupply, due to an unexpected huge inventory in the world's biggest oil consumer. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures settled down at $46.77 per barrel, decreasing by $1.33, or 2.8 percent. Brent crude futures dropped by 91 cents, or 1.8 percent, arriving at $49.05.

Crude oil prices rebounded about 3 percent on Thursday, with U.S. crude increasing above the $40 per barrel mark on short covering and after a slight inventory decline at the delivery hub for U.S. crude futures. Brent crude boosted $1.19, or 2.8 percent, to settle at $44.29 a barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude climbed $1.10, or 2.7 percent, to close at $41.93 per barrel.
