EU to propose natural gas price cap after Nov. 24 meeting
The European Commission plans to propose a cap on natural gas prices after Nov. 24, as it seeks to contain an energy crisis stemming from Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the EU's energy policy chief told Reuters on Wednesday.

Daily (08.11.2022): Strong LNG supply and high storage levels continue to weigh on European gas prices
After reaching more than two-month highs crude oil prices fell amid mixed signals. Chinese policymakers are considering removing the severe COVID-19 limitations on the economy, however, with no deadline established. As a result, WTI declined by 0.9% to $91.79 a barrel, while Brent crude decreased by 0.7% to end at $97.92.

Daily (18.10.2022): European carbon prices declined ahead this week's European Council discussion on possible EU ETS changes
Oil prices remained stable on Monday as fears that high inflation and energy prices may push the global economy into recession outweighed China's continued adoption of a loose monetary policy. Hence, Brent crude settled at $91.62 a barrel, while WTI decreased by 0.2% to $85.46 per barrel.

EU assessing various types of gas price cap

Netherlands warns against EU carbon market fundraising plan
