EBRD to finance three new wind farms in Poland

The EBRD is providing a long-term loan of more than 69 million euros to PEPSA, a group of three special-purpose companies fully owned by Polish Energy Partners S.A, aiming to support the construction and operation of three wind farms in northern and north-eastern Poland. They are Gawłowice with a total capacity of 41.4 MW, Rajgród with 25MW and Skurpie 37 MW.

The U.S to become the world’s largest producer of oil and gas

According to a Wall Street Journal analysis, the United States will become the world's largest producer of oil and natural gas by the end of 2017 surpassing Russia. This could happen thanks to a boost in US fuel production determined by technology which will allow energy companies to tap into oil and gas in underground shale rock formations.
