Daily: UK gas slips on oversupplied system

Brent crude futures declined on Thursday as the North Sea Buzzard oilfield was expected to restart after maintenance and on worries about the euro-zone economy. Brent crude for delivery in December dropped 53 cents or 0.49 percent, settling at $108.17 a barrel, having traded from $107.75 to $109.03.

Daily: Brent up to $114 on tight supplies from the North Sea

Brent crude increased to 114 dollars per barrel on Monday on tight supplies from the North Sea due to a UK oilfield closed for maintenance work. Brent oil for October was traded up 66 cents at 114.37 dollars per barrel at 08:50 GMT, after having dropped over 2 dollars on Friday on expectations that U.S. might release some of its reserves. Meanwhile, U.S. crude oil traded up 10 cents to 96.11 dollars.
