Daily: Oil contracts up 5% for the week on OPEC revived hopes

Crude oil price ended higher on Friday, closing out a bullish week for crude oil, spurred by growing expectations that OPEC will find a solution to limit production at the end of the month. Brent crude rose by 37 cents, or 0.8 percent, to settle at $46.86 per barrel, posting its first weekly increase in five weeks. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude climbed 27 cents, or 0.6 percent, for the day, to close at $45.69 a barrel. It posted its first weekly increase in four weeks. For the week, Brent and U.S. crude both rose roughly 5 percent.

Denmark decided to continue production at old North Sea gas field

The Danish government is decided to find an economically viable solution that will permit A.P. Moller-Maersk's energy division to continue production at the Tyra gas field in the North Sea, as stated by energy and climate minister Lars Christian Lilleholt on Wednesday.

Engie signed its first retail LNG deal in the United Kingdom

ENGIE has just inked its first retail LNG sales agreement in the UK with FLOGAS Britain, one of the biggest alternative energy solutions suppliers to industrial clients in the UK. Over a period of 18 months, ENGIE will supply 8,000 tonnes of LNG to FLOGAS Britain from Isle of Grain terminal (South-East coast of the UK). Altogether, 400 Flogas Britain trailers will be loaded to supply industrial firms that are not linked to the natural gas grid. Operations will launch in the next few weeks.
