Brent crude settled slightly higher on Wednesday, backed by a stronger 2014 oil-demand forecast from OPEC and as Chinese oil imports reached record highs on Tuesday. However, the gains were curbed as traders sold the European benchmark and purchased WTI after the publication of figures. Brent crude for March delivery settled 11 cents higher at $108.79.
