Crude oil prices rose on Tuesday despite OPEC+ decision to increase output slightly from next week and surging coronavirus infection rate in India. Hence, Brent crude increased by 1.2% to settle at $66.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, U.S. WTI crude soared by 1.7% to close at $62.94 a barrel.

OPEC+ sticks to plan to ease crude oil output cuts from May 1
OPEC, Russia and their allies will stick to plans for a phased easing of oil production restrictions from May to July amid upbeat forecasts for a recovery in global demand and despite surging coronavirus cases in India, Brazil and Japan.

Crude oil prices edged lower on Friday, as encouraging economic indicators from the United States and China were offset by coronavirus concerns. As such, Brent oil slipped by 0.3% to $66.77 a barrel, and WTI crude lost 0.5% to close at $63.13 a barrel.

Daily (12.04.2021): NBP spot lost 3% on Friday, weighed by a healthy system
Crude oil prices weakened on Friday, weighed by a possible increase in Iranian production and coronavirus concerns. Consequently, Brent oil edged 0.4% lower at $62.95 a barrel and WTI crude slipped by 0.5% to $59.32 a barrel.

Daily (26.03.2021): Oil prices dropped by about 4% on Thursday, on the pace for the third consecutive week of losses amid mounting lockdowns in Europe
Oil prices pulled back on Thursday and are on the track to reach the third straight week of losses as a new round of coronavirus restrictions in Europe revived worries about demand, counterbalancing the potential impact of a blocked Suez Canal. Hence, Brent crude shed by $2.46 or 3.8% to settle at $61.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, U.S. WTI crude dropped by $2.62 or 4.3% to close at $58.26 per barrel.
