Belarus and Russia authorize 3.7% increase in oil transportation tariff as from 1 September

Belarus and Russia have come to an agreement on raising the tariff on transporting oil across the Belarusian territory by 3.7% as from 1 September, the press service of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim told BelTa after negotiations on 6 August.

Daily (29.07.2019): EU spot power prices plunged by over 22% on Friday, due to forecasts for cooler weather

Crude oil prices edged up on Friday, backed by stronger consumer spending in the U.S. and heightened concerns about safety of oil transport around the Strait of Hormuz. Lower U.S. crude stocks lent more support to prices. However, gains were limited by fears that oil demand would decline due to slower global economic growth. Against that backdrop, Brent crude advanced by only 0.1% to $63.46 a barrel, while WTI futures rose by 0.3% to $56.20 a barrel.

Ukraine winter season gas reserves rise -Ukrtransgaz

Ukraine, which wants to stockpile at least 20 billion cubic metres (bcm) of gas for the 2019/20 heating season, had reserves of almost 14 bcm as of July 6, state gas transport company Ukrtransgaz said on Monday.

Poland offers assistance with gas transit via Ukraine

Polish Government's Plenipotentiary for Strategic Energy Infrastructure Piotr Naimski says Poland is ready to launch a gas pipeline with the capacity of 2 billion cu m (bcm), which will link the Polish gas transportation system (GTS) with the Ukrainian one in Hermanowice, Ukrainian UNIAN reported.

Total strengthens US LNG business

Total has signed an agreement with Toshiba to take over its portfolio of LNG. It includes a 20-year tolling agreement for 2.2 million tpy of LNG from Freeport LNG train 3 in Texas and the corresponding gas transportation agreements on the pipelines feeding the terminal.
