Daily (20.12.2018): WTI crude jumped by 4.2% on Wednesday, due to stronger demand and a strike on Libya’s oil field

Oil prices recovered on Wednesday, as demand for refined products strengthened. Consequently, Brent crude soared by 1.7% to $57.24 a barrel. Moreover, the strike on the Libya’s El-Sharara oilfield supported WTI crude, which traded 4.2% higher at $48.17 a barrel.

Daily (17.04.2018): European carbon prices hit new 7-year highs on Monday as observers forecasted further gains

Oil prices fell on Monday following a higher U.S. drilling activity and due to worries related to increasing tensions in the Middle East after air strikes on Syria over the weekend. Brent futures lost $1.16, or 1.6%, to end at $71.42 a barrel. WTI crude slumped by 1.7% to $66.22 a barrel.
