Oil prices had a mixed evolution on Monday, amid concerns over a potential decline in crude supply ahead of the weekly U.S. inventories data. WTI futures traded 0.4 % down at 58.82 USD/bbl. In the meantime, the Brent crude price edged 0.3% up at 67.21 USD/bbl, supported by steady OPEC’s production cuts and an improved German business climate index which eased the prospect of a recession in Europe's biggest economy.

The UK is on track to import this month its highest volume of liquefied natural gas (LNG) since October 2015, as a wave of new global LNG supply and muted winter demand and low spot prices in Asia are boosting flows of the fuel to Europe.

Oil prices slipped on Wednesday, as President Donald Trump expects steady crude flows. Brent crude price edged 0.8% lower to $62.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, WTI crude fell 0.7% to $52.89 a barrel, as losses were limited by potential cuts in oil production.

NOVATEK announced that its wholly owned subsidiary NOVATEK-Yurkharovneftegas, upon testing of the exploration well PO-1 achieved commercial flows of natural gas from the Lower Cretaceous sediments at the Nyakhartinskiy license area with a gas condensate mixture well flow rate of more than 300 thousand m3 per day.

Oil prices were almost constant on Friday, as the relaunch of Kirkuk oil flows through the Kurdish-controlled pipeline diminished the impact of U.S. sanctions over Iranian exports. Flows resumed at an average daily level of 50,000-60,000 barrels. Brent crude edged 0.2% higher at $66.76 a barrel. WTI crude remained unchanged at $56.46 a barrel.
