On Tuesday, oil prices were bearish, following a decline in other risk assets. The dollar remained strong and investors anticipated further interest rate increases from central banks in order to reduce inflation. As such, Brent crude settled 1.5% lower at $90.62 a barrel. WTI crude decreased by 2.1% to $83.94.

Daily (05.09.2022): The NBP gas prices decreased sharply on Friday due to strong LNG imports and UK Continental Shelf production

Oil prices rose on Friday as traders anticipated that OPEC+ would discuss output reductions at their meeting on September 5. Gains were however constrained by concerns about China's COVID-19 limitations and the status of the global economy. As a result, WTI crude oil moved up by 0.3% to $86.87, while Brent crude oil closed 0.7% higher at $93.02.

Daily (27.07.2022): NBP gas prices rose significantly as a result of the EU's decision to reduce gas demand by 15%

Oil prices decreased on Tuesday as investors worried about dwindling consumer confidence and prepared for the release of an additional 20 million barrels of crude oil from the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve. As such, WTI crude diminished by 1.8% to settle at $94.98 per barrel. At the same time, Brent crude ended 0.7% down at $104.40 a barrel.
