Cyprus could become a natural gas hub by 2025

Petroleum activities on the Norwegian continental shelf
The Norwegian oil adventure started with the discovery of Ekofisk in 1969 with the exploration activity that was concentrated on the North Sea. Ekofisk is the largest field on the Norwegian continental shelf, considered in terms of daily oil production and serves as a hub for petroleum operations in this region, with several fields utilizing the infrastructure at Ekofisk for further transport in the Norpipe system.

Daily: German power prices up on lower solar power production

Daily: Crude oil prices increase on U.S. gasoline stocks drop
Oil prices increased on Wednesday, pushed by gains of 2.5% in U.S. crude following an unexpected drop in weekly gasoline stockpiles and speculation that the glut of crude at the Cushing, Oklahoma hub could soon diminish.
