Russia’s Nord Stream is likely to reach UK

According to an English newspaper BP was in "secret talks" with Gazprom to develop the twin Nord Stream pipeline to Britain. The BP director for Russia David Peattie has announced that talks were in the initial phase, while the British Prime Minister David Cameron stated that it will support the project.

Shell intends to invest 1 billion dollars annually in China gas projects

Royal Dutch Shell Plc, Europe's largest oil company, is set to invest about 1 billion dollars per year in its upstream businesses in China starting from this year, as a response to the country’s surging natural gas consumption, which is expected to rise to 230 billion cubic meters by 2015, announced on Tuesday Peter Voser, the company's chief executive officer.

Poland extended the deadline for shale gas exploration projects

Gazprom unveils a major gas project to conquer Asia

Russia’s gas giant Gazprom is planning to invest tens billions of dollars to build a 3,200km pipeline from East Siberia to the Pacific port of Vladivostok, as it pledges to lessen its reliance on exports to Europe and develop Asian markets.

London Array produced its first power

One of the world’s largest offshore wind farm, the London Array project, has delivered its first power to the grid last week. The wind farm which is situated in Thames Estuary, around 20 km off the coasts of Kent and Essex is being developed by a joint venture between Dong Energy, E.ON and Masdar.
