Ukraine to build its first LNG terminal
Ukraine started the construction of its first LNG terminal near the Black Sea port, in Odessa region. According to the Ukrainian government officials, the LNG terminal may then cover from 30 to 50 % of Ukraine's domestic demand for gas.

Daily: UK spot gas climbs on cold weather, despite oversupply
Brent and U.S. crude futures dropped for a second consecutive day on Tuesday on worries about weak demand for petroleum which were intensified by concerns about the euro zone economy and U.S. budget talks aimed to avert mandated tax increases and spending cuts.

Russia’s Nord Stream is likely to reach UK
According to an English newspaper BP was in "secret talks" with Gazprom to develop the twin Nord Stream pipeline to Britain. The BP director for Russia David Peattie has announced that talks were in the initial phase, while the British Prime Minister David Cameron stated that it will support the project.
