Bulgaria eyes to receive additional gas from Azerbaijan

Bulgaria is interested in additional gas supplies from Azerbaijan, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov told reporters, Azernews informed. Borisov noted that during the meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the issue of the construction of an interconnector for connecting to the TAP for the delivery of 1 billion m3 of gas to Bulgaria was discussed.

Oil prices climbed on Wednesday after U.S. data showed a sharp drop in crude stockpiles. Moreover, OPEC continues to cut oil supplies. Brent oil surged by 1.8% to 66.39 USD/bbl, while WTI futures was 2.6% up at 56.94 USD/bbl.

Gazprom makes comprehensive efforts to improve the reliability of gas supplies to the Kaliningrad Region. Gazprom carried out an alternative gas supply project focused on LNG deliveries by sea. A gas receiving terminal based in the Baltic Sea and onshore was built in the Kaliningrad Region.

Daily (26.11.2018): Brent crude lost 6.1% on Friday, on worries about oversupply

Concerns over abundant crude supplies and a deceleration in world economic expansion put heavy pressure on oil prices on Friday. Moreover, global equity markets plunged as well. Brent crude tumbled to $58.8 a barrel, posting a 12% loss week-on week. Meanwhile, WTI crude prices fell to $50.42 a barrel, or a 11% decline for the week.
