OPEC and Russia are likely to decide this week whether to increase their oil output, having a bearish effect on crude prices on Tuesday. Brent crude slipped by 0.4% to $75.08 a barrel, while WTI crude plummeted by around 1.2% to settle at $65.07 a barrel.

Daily (14.06.2018): NBP day-ahead gas price jumped by 3.4% on Wednesday due to an undersupplied system

Increased demand in fuel consumption in the United States and lower crude inventories boosted oil prices on Wednesday. Brent crude futures rose by 1.1% to settle at $76.74 a barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures added 28 cents, or 0.4%, to $66.64 a barrel.

Spain’s Repsol Buys New Crude Cargo from Iran Despite US Sanctions

Iran sold its first cargo from West Karoun to Spain’s Repsol after the US decision to exit the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Repsol ordered 500,000 bpd of spot cargoes of West Karoun crude which Iran is marketing as Pars oil.

Daily (30.05.2018): NBP July 2018 delivery contract surged by 4.4% on Tuesday on forecasts for higher consumption

Oil prices rose slightly on Tuesday, driven high by expectations that Saudi Arabia and Russia could produce more crude to compensate a possible supply deficit. Brent crude gained 0.1% to end at $75.39 a barrel. WTI futures added $0.21, or 0.3% to trade at $66.73 a barrel.
