Tullow Oil quits its Lupus exploration well in Norway
Tullow Oil PLC unveiled it had stopped up and quitted its Lupus exploration well in the Norwegian North Sea blaming its failure to find any hydrocarbons. The well is 35km south-east of the Oseberg Sor Field and 110km west of the island of Sotra in the North Sea.

Power line project postponed, to have effect on supply in Central Norway
An important Norwegian power connection project will be postponed, which will probably lead to an insufficient electricity supply and price increases in central Norway from late 2016, as stated by grid operator Statnett.

Norway: wind farm to be built off Britain by Statoil and Statkraft
Norway's Statoil and Statkraft will construct the Dudgeon offshore wind farm off the coast of Norfolk in Britain, according to Statoil on Tuesday. It is estimated that the cost will be around 1.5 billion pounds ($2.57 billion).

Statoil discovers more gas off Tanzania
Norway's Statoil declared on Wednesday it had discovered more gas off Tanzania, increasing possibilities that a projected liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant could be larger than originally intended.

Daily: British gas prices decreased due to higher supplies from Norway
Brent futures slightly increased on Thursday, holding near $110 a barrel amid expectations of higher demand from top oil consumer the United States since a sharp decline in the country's gasoline stocks added to latest data leading to a stronger economy.
