Gazprom gas prices for Europe could be reduced by 17% by 2017

Gazprom’s natural gas prices under long-term contracts with European countries are expected to be curbed by 17% to $320 per 1,000 cubic meters by 2017 thanks to gas supply diversification, including shale gas production, according to the declarations made by a representative of Russia’s Economic Development Ministry.

Daily: European spot power prices spurred by tight thermal capacity, healthy demand

U.S. crude futures posted a modest fall on Friday after U.S. government data on Wednesday showed a drop in crude supplies last week for the first time since late March, even if total supplies are still at record highs. Vattenfall to close carbon capture R&D
