A new V164-7.0 MW offshore wind turbine will be tested after a recently signed agreement between DONG Energy and Vestas. The new Vestas wind turbines are designed to be installed in severe climate regions for large scale wind farms, mainly in the Northern European waters.

Vestas to supply 44 MW wind turbines to Swedish Eolus Vind

The Danish company, currently the world’s leading manufacturer of wind turbines, Vestas, has received an order for the delivery of wind-turbines to Swedish wind power developer Eolus Vind. The wind-turbines will be installed at the Tolvmanstegen wind park in the Stromstad Municipality, Sweden.
