Austria: personal gas aspirations aided to keep Russian pipeline safe
Gazprom's South Stream pipeline project has been saved by Austria last month in order to bring its own gas from the Black Sea, according to a source. This would be the first time the Russian gas exporter has consented to a rival’s gas access to its pipelines.

Daily: Brent crude prices fall as Libya exports resume

Norway: cut in gas exports lower than expected
On Wednesday, work at a gas field off Norway should start, leading to a cut in production of 18 million cubic metres per day rather than an expected 26 mcm per day, as published by the gas system operator Gassco on its website.
